Efficient Operation and Nice Looking

This appears to be an updated version of the Whirlpool air filter we have been using for 10+ years. It's quieter and convenient to operate at different speeds.

Reputation for Reliability

This is a great product that will last a decade or more. I own several and they are workhorses. The only flaw is there should be an an ability to reduce all light sources for night sleeping while operating at full speed. I’ve purchased light blocking tape to achieve 90% blackout to maintain a dark room.

Seems even better than the previous generation

I’m pleased to say after several weeks of use that this Whirlpool PRO2000 unit is as good or better than the older Whirlpool Whispure large room unit that we used daily (8-12 hours a day) for maybe fifteen years. The large filters on the Whispure lasted well over a year for us. The PRO2000 large filter is nearly identical so I anticipate a similar change schedule. The digital controls are quiet and easy on the hands. The slower sleep mode is nice and the fan is still reasonably quiet at high speeds too. No motor or fan whine. The new car smell dissipates completely in one day of use. It has a useful carry handle and cord stow away, both on the back. It arrived well packaged with filters installed, ready to go. Will probably buy another for the second floor.
