Baseplate Only

Works great with my camera harness

I had recently gotten a new harness to hold my camera as a neck strap or over the shoulder strap had gotten too uncomfortable for me to carry my camera comfortably for too long and it was a miracle change in comfort level. I didn't like the way the camera stuck straight out in front, however; I saw the design of this and thought it was just what I needed so the camera would hang straight down. I was thrilled to see I could just buy the baseplate by itself. Now I have a comfortable setup!

Using with Nikon Z6iii. Works great. Makes the shooting experience much better. This camer with a lens is very unwieldy. The necessary length of most lenses makes the camera front heavy, so it is miserable to carry with conventional use of eye haoles for strap. My moving that to bottom of the camera, the camera is far more comforable to wear and easier to retrieve.

I really like the baseplate that incorporates a tripod mount. I like the way it changes the way the camera rest against my body. The only thing I can say as a constructive criticism is that the tolerance between the slide could be tighter as the rattling sound when you pick up the camera make me sure as to whether it is securely fastened. Otherwise it is a great idea and product.
