Gliss - 12 pound test

Ardent Gliss Line Rocks!

I really like this line. I have it in green in both 8 and 12 pounds. Since Berkley quite making Nanofil in heavier weights this line is the best thing going for super tiny diameter line. The only thing I would really like to see soon is another run or two of yellow line in the lower weights like I use. See photos for two recent catches using 12 lbs Gliss. One is a tiger musky (my first), the second is a tiger trout. I must have a thing for fish with tiger in the name.

The distance on casts with this line is great. It is very limp and doesn't have much memory. I bought 12lb and 18lb for 2 different rods using to surf fish. The only down side is these only come in 150 yd spools. I am very pleased with the product!

Perfect for finesse smallmouth fishing!

Moved up to this from the 8 pound and still love it. It lies on the spool nicely, like a mono. It throws light lures very well due to its small diameter and gets your lure down in current well for the same reason. The line transmits every tick of contact better than a typical braid and almost as good as an ester line. I haven’t had any abrasion issues, but use a fluorocarbon leader, for some reason.
