Love this reel so much I bought another one.
I got this reel for throwing big swimbaits. I liked it so much I bought another one. This reel is so smooth and casts a mile. It has the gears and heavy drag that I need when I'm throwing a heavy bait for very big fish. It is what I have come to expect from Ardent. A terrific reel with everything you could want. It's one of the reasons Ardent reels are the only reels I own. You can spend more money on a reel but why. Ardent has a three year best in the business warranty. They truly rule the water.

A great reel
Just as good as strong as the Apex Elite, but with extra line capacity, and salt water approved. Going to attack some Lingcod and Tuna in August...

Excellent reel, smooth, strong and casts a mile., landed many Rockfish, Lingcod, and a 20# Tuna, the Tuna was a challenge but the reel held up with 40# Strong Braid line
