Not Ideal for Kindergarten

I was looking for a Unit Study centered around Thanksgiving. I've used Peaceful Press in the past and have always enjoyed their resources. However, I found the reading and activity choices clearly geared more towards an older child. I do believe this study was an excerpt from their Pioneers Volume 2 - so it makes sense that it would be geared towards an older audience. We were not able to use most of the curriculum for my kindergartner, and I ended up needing to go with another Thanksgiving style unit study. With that said, had my children been older, we definitely would've enjoyed what was provided. I will be hanging onto this and perhaps revisit it down the road.

This Playful Pioneers New England makes a wonderful homeschool curriculum. Jennifer Pepito, with great wisdom of a seasoned homeschool mom has curated a truly beautiful curriculum. I have High school to elementary and it is easily adaptable to all ages. The artists, copywork, poetry and literature are so thoughtfully chosen. I would recommend this to anyone. It will bless your family. And this New England study is perfect for the month of November leading up to Thanksgiving.

My second purchase from you. What I love is managing 1 month at a time. So much less stressful! Life happens when you are homeschooling. Planning a whole year can be overwhelming. I love that you are breaking this up in month long bite size pieces. Taking life a month at a time works so much better for us!
