English Coffee Malt - Simpsons

Very pleased!

My order came so quickly! I am very pleased with my purchase. Unlike most of the people out there, I am grinding and then brewing my malted barley in a French press as a coffee alternative. Combining several chocolate, English coffee, and crystal malted barleys works well. As soon as it cools off a bit, I am going to have an even better time playing around with my purchases and perfecting the flavor profile.

Malt has character

I put 4 oz. in a porter. Definitely noticeable coffee character. It has great flavor, but probably best suited to stouts.

Chocolate Coffee Stout

This was just the malt I was looking. Added cacao nibs to secondary and the beer turned out delicious. Will brew this one again.
