Platinum® Elite Carry-On Hardside Spinner

We love this luggage. We started with the checked bag sizes and now replacing our carry ons. The wheels on the larger luggage is so easy to notice if you are pulling a samsonite and a travel pro over plush carpet at a hotel. We are looking at longevity and ease of use. It’s worth it

A solid improvement from the previous generation. The materials feel better. . . especially the inside zipper (comparing to a Platinum Elite hard side large I also have). Will I replace the previous generation? No. But would I recommend this generation over the previous? Yes, definitely. All the zipper glide smooth both inside and the main outside. The TSA lock is easy to set, works as expected. The wheels are incredible smooth. I'm not sure I noticed an improvement with the magnetic functionality of the wheels (they can gently "lock" back into place), but it's not a downside. I've used this for two round trip flights thus far as a carry on and had no issues fitting it in American Airlines nor Delta Airlines overhead compartments. If I had to give it a con. . . the provided luggage tag is a bit "cheap" feeling. . . I'll swap that with one of my own. But no big deal. Also they advertise having an internal "tracker" pocket but there are no pictures. It's just a little inside pocket on the left-side compartment, large enough to fit an AirTag or similar tracker.

This is my favorite hardside cary-on luggage! I have a few hardside carry-ons and this one is by far the best. The redesign looks phenomenal, the build quality is better than any other one I have. The construction and materials are perfect! I love all the compartments and zippered pockets. I also love that both sides of the luggage have compression tie down straps which allows you to compress 100% of your belongings as opposed to just one half.
