Haven't actually used it yet; will be leaving next weekend for a 21/2 week Italy tour. I'm certain this tote will fill an important need as a 2nd personal carry on piece (instead of a purse or backpack.

I have used this bag for one trip so far, with 4 airline legs, several Ubers, and 3 hotels. I like it very much for the organization, not wobbling on top of a rolling bag, and truly fitting under the seat in front of you. It fits water bottle (not a huge one) and snacks in the side outside pocket, headphones, iPad mini and reading glasses in the bigger outside pocket, and phone, lip balm, and hand sanitizer in the smaller outside pocket. The inside fit my purse, jacket, hat and gloves, some toiletries, cables, and more snacks. It looks fine and it's nice to be able to find things so easily in flight.
