On the Fence

Well, I pre-ordered a Multi-cam for Black Friday as a gift to myself. I got confirmation in an email, and another notification that the material is on back order. Initially, it was supposed to be a 30-day wait... It ended up being over 60-days until I finally received my hoodie. I rushed home to try it on! I was super excited and after opening the package, and throwing it on, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the material. It wasnt untili began running my hands up and down the reinforced elbows and looking in the mirror that I noticed a hole in the hoodie, front and center. The was small (a pencil could fit through it) but after paying $160 + shipping and waiting over 60-days, I wanted a perfect condition item. I immediately reached pit to customer service to let them know. Come to find out, there were no replacement options. My only options were: 1. I can send it back and have them stitch the hole, or, 2. Return the item and get a credit... I opted to just return the item for credit, now I'll have to wait 10-months to reorder. I was hesitant at first about even placing an order, given it would be a work hoodie. I took the chance, and invested in myself, and got a defective garment. This is why Im on the fence about a future order...

Decent hoodie. Not for the money

I’m a big hoodie guy and was excited to splurge and try this one out for a long time. The fabric is thick and very warm. I love the extra length and the oversized hood as well. Very comfy. What disappointed me was maybe the second day I wore it I pushed my sleeves halfway up my arms to wash my hands and the wrist cuffs at the end of the sleeves stretched out permanently. So now they are extremely loose. That doesn’t even happen with a 15 Walmart hoodie. So not a fan of whatever material they use on the cuffs but they are definitely NOT stretchy. There are also a few places where the stitching has come out already. This is a decent hoodie and even for 50-60 dollars I would probably buy another one. But for the insane price tag that 1620 has put on this thing I feel like I was expecting something much more durable. Still one of my favorite hoodies to wear at the moment but I can’t recommend it to others for the price.

Best hoodies on earth. Warm when wet, the cordura panels make it so much more durable. Not having tassles on the hood is huge for me as a mechanic and constantly working around trucks, motorcycles with spinning powertools, sprockets and chains. This is my second full tech hoodie and wont be my last.
