Pioneer Bootie Metatarsal

Wanted to keep these but fit not right for me

Like so many other reviewers, I planned to use these as my slippers or "round-the-house" shoes. I liked the look & sturdiness of the shoe. I loved the bottom & good arch support (I ordered the metatarsal support, as usual, from Walking Company shoes). Unfortunately, my heel slipped in both shoes, even with my thick socks, but they fit fine everywhere else. I wanted so much to keep these because I loved so much about them. It is difficult to find supportive slipper-like shoes that I wear to the mailbox as well as around the house, especially ones with metatarsal support. I typically don't do well with moccasin type slippers because of my high instep. So, I'm still looking for a pair. FYI: I've been told by some that I have a narrow heel but by my most recent measurements at a reputable shoe store (Fleet Feet), I was told that I have average size heels. I never order narrow shoes so not sure why my heels slipped so much.

These slip on shoes are soooo comfortable warm with GREAT arch support for every day wear .

Super warm but a bit stiff

Love these! They keep my feet super warm and they are made well. When I walk in them, they do seem a bit stiff, so they are not very slipper-like. But the hard sole on the bottom is great to step outdoors in.
