Ficus Benjamina Florida Spire, Weeping Fig

We are still in the "losing leaves" phase but the number of leaves currently falling are much fewer than when "Benny" first arrived. We have had these plants previously when we lived in California but had forgotten how temperamental they are about moving to a new place. We believe he is now "settled in" and will soon be "pleased as punch" with his new home.

I love this plant as it grows so well and gives height and interest in my garden room, which in Texas is great. My plants get plenty of light and with the porch enclosed and properly heated and cooled according to weather conditions, my plants are happy all year long. It was well packaged for delivery and arrived as promised safely and in perfect condition.

My new fig is doing pretty well. It has dropped a few leaves, but that is to be expected as it adjusts to its new environment. Overall, it looks good! My only complaint is that the packaging wouldn't have been sufficient for a cold winter day here in NH. Fortunately, it arrived on a very mild day. Consider adding some insulation, such as bubble wrap, to plants going to the northern states. Thanks.
