Himiway D5 2.0 20" eBike

The himiway D5 2.0 20 inch e-bike is full of usable and practical features for a 20 inch tire bike. The front and rear suspension travel is long enough to actually do some good unlike other bikes I’ve owned with shorter suspension that was not very effective, good job Himiway. The adjustability of the speed controller is really nice, lots of options to get it the way you like. I especially like the auto mode that chooses the assist level automatically based on the load, the power is always there and it doesn’t seem to drain the battery any more than changing the pass levels manually and in fact it is probably more efficient. Being able to choose between torque and cadence sensors is a really nice feature I did not see on any other 20 inch e-bike. The brakes are another great feature. Using a 203mm front rotor has so much more breaking power compared to so many other e-bikes with 180mm rotors front and rear, really nice touch. This thing is built like a tank, a little heavier than a folding bike but way more stable feeling at speed and in corners. The comfort of the seat and the overall ergonomics with the available adjustments is excellent. The wider BMX style bars make huge difference in stability. The overall quality, appearance and detail is top notch. Even in this price range I didn’t see any other e-bikes with so many quality features that come on this bike, especially for the 20 inch tire category. Himiway has been around for quite a few years and looks like they are committed to staying around a lot longer with dealers all over the US. One last note about the excellent customer service, top notch again. Keep it up Himiway and thanks for a great product.

Beautiful bike.

Recieved my D5 2.0 20” packaged very well. Put it together charged the battery. Took a ten mile ride. I really like the handling. I love the ride. After 40 minutes on the bike I felt very comfortable with it. I am anxious to ride down the beach and getting some good exercise and time outside. The Himiway D5 seems to be very high quality and well designed. Except for one broken screw the holds the front fender in place, I am very happy with my purchase.

Wow! Who knew?

Beyond happy with my new bike. Mostly because it fits me! The Himiway Cruiser was always just a bit too big. It didn’t feel safe. So happy that this bike became available. I can’t stop smiling!
