Temperature Makes All the Difference

I have been drinking Purity Coffee for quite a while from a French press. I have had a few bad instances where I took the boiling water and poured it on the grounds. The cup was very bitter and unpleasant. I recently bought my wife a Breville Tea Maker which gives me the option to heat water to a specific temperature and then pour it immediately on the grounds. I have settled on 200 degrees. The coffee comes out amazing and the first time I tried it I literally thought the coffee tasted as good as the Gesha coffee. Mind blown!
