Espresso USDA Organic

I bought a reusable nespresso pod kit and was skeptical about trying to grind and use espresso beans, but this is some of the best coffee I've ever had. A coffee shop latte doesn't compare. Tastes SO good, saves me money in the long run AND it's coffee for a cause 🥹🫶

I love this coffee. My stomach is sensitive to a lot of coffees, and I do really well with this one. It's delicious too!! We use a Breville machine for our espresso (pricey, but it's paid itself off 10x over I would guess). I use honey or maple syrup to flavor mine. Not to mention the wonderful mission they have. Good coffee...now let's talk dark roast

First I will say I do like Seven Weeks coffee on its face. As in: take away the excellent cause it supports and I'm still sipping a decent cuppa joe. It's got a nice aroma, balanced, plays well with both my drip and my french press, and overall I like the chocolate flavour notes with a slightly floral finish. I'm not sure why it doesn't feel like a true dark roast to me, but I might just be looking for more of the smokey clean bakers chocolate--almost liquorice notes--that I enjoy in a French Sumatran. I'd like to see some expanded offerings in the dark category, and I'd love to see some Indo beans make their way into the bag. 'm happy to put Seven Weeks in the rotation, but I'm going to hold onto some of my other favourite local dark roasts as well. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for the unborn!
