I only had to make one alteration, shorten the long sleeves by 2 inches. I have started a short sleeved linen version.

Great Shirt

The shirt is a similar pattern to a McCalls men’s shirt. I made both the Jensen and the McCalls. The WBM pattern was and is my favorite. The PDF printed perfectly. I usually wear a medium but noticed that many patterns fit a bit snugly, so I went with a large. It fit like a glove. Also, the instructions were easy to follow and I put the shirt together with only the written instructions, no video help needed (maybe I’m just getting good at the sewing thing). In any event, the Wardrobe By Me Jensen shirt is my favorite shirt pattern, and I’m looking forward to more patterns from them. As a side note, the Jensen shirt paired up nicely with the Pikes Vest.

Perfect fit

For deciding which size to choose, I compared one of my husbands well-fitting ready-to-wear t-shirts with the measurements in the size chart and it came out perfectly (based only on his body measurements it would have recommended a size too big). He is so happy with his t-shirt and I’m planning to make him many more :-)
