Nice mat. Perfect for keeping bowls in one place. It's more of a hard plastic. It looks kind of rubbery in the photos but it's pretty rigid. I have a 50lb dog and the size is perfect for a large water bowl and a medium food bowl.

Basecamp Dog Bowl Mat
I am very pleased with this attractive and functional mat, as I use it in my condo and it tidies up the dog bowls location into one cohesive area. As well, it contains any stray food items and water, protecting the hardwood floors. Thank you Ruffwear.

Nice!
Just as described. Sturdy, well made, anti slip, good looking, fits 2 base camp bowls perfectly, fits on his make shift feeding platform, contains most messes, (he has jowls, so there will never not be water somewhere). Love the high rim and the design is just pleasing to look at. We ordered one for the road too.
