Rear Hub Motor (500W)

New rear wheel with motor and D35 bike

Last year about this time I purchased a D35 bike and damaged the rear wheel a few weeks ago. After receiving the D35 I switched the summer tires for studded winter tires and rode the bike to work and back a few times per week until the weather improved and I could put the summer tires back on. I was not able to use the bike much during the winter as the weather made being on the road with cars too dangerous but was able to use it more regularly during the rest of the year. The bike now has more than 2500 km on it. I really love the bike. The power assist works smoothly and allows me to adjust the level to get to work quickly and still have a good work out. The battery worked well even in temperatures below -15 degrees Celsius easily getting me to work and back, about 45 km for the round trip, with the battery at around 50% when i got home. During the summer the trip used about 20% of the battery power. In late Nov this fall I damaged the rim on the rear wheel quite badly and had to order a new one. The staff were very helpful and ensured I ordered the correct part. The studded tires are back on the bike and I am looking forward to using the D35 again this winter.
