Co-starring magnolia and peach!

After sampling Babycat and becoming obsessed, I’m working my way through the rest of YSL’s Le Vestiaire des Parfums. This is my third decant, and third favorite, after Babycat and Trench. It’s very pretty and quite stereotypically feminine. You get a strong, waxy-clean magnolia when first applied, along with a strong, sweet peach. I also get a substantial amount of fluffy peony in the mid-note wear. I was concerned from applying it on a scent strip that it would be too sweet and floral for me. But it’s actually not overwhelming when applied judiciously from the 1 ml dabber. It has medium projection, good wear. It’s very outside my normal fragrance choices, but I’m happy to have experienced it! And I think it’s an absolutely stunning choice for folks who like sweet, fairly strong florals and/or prominent peach notes.

Soft floral!

Just a lovely fragrance. Clean, not overbearing. Love it and am glad I selected a sample!!! Will buy full size.
