APTUM™ SAPI/SHOOTER Minimalist Plate Carrier

Pretty cool kit, first time messing with armor, got steel plates originally and quickly sold them as they were to heavy and to thin and with this carrier that’s just not comfy. Only negative is the Velcro inside the plate bags is only a strip for the flap so you can’t really snug up thinner plates. Other than that it’s great. If your running heavier plates you will need shoulder pads 100% but honestly this carrier deserves some nice lightweight ceramic plates to really shine or honestly some soft armor and this thing would be really comfortable, I bought some foam plates in the meantime while I save for ceramics and it’s comfortable as hell that way so soft armor and run it under a shirt concealed is a great option for security guys or whatever. I can recommend this carrier as long as you understand your use case beforehand it’s a great option.

If you use thinner plates, will need a plate backer of some sort to help keep plate in place in pocket
