This solution bonds the decal to the underlying surface. Make sure its exactly where it needs to be because the decal seems to melt into the surface below. i use a small brush to apply the solution liberally and sit back to let it dry. Do not disturb it during the process - and be amazed when its finished. Coat it with a nice clearcoat and it looks like your decal was painted on below.

I have long depended on Solvaset to be sure water-transfer decals snuggle around details and adhere tightly to the surface (primarily model railroad equipment, but other models as well). My success with other products has been . . . well . . . disappointing at best and horrible at worst. I'll stick with what works! JLL
