There is a definite learning curve and I watched probably 10 videos on TikTok to try to figure this thing out. Even after that, it’s still a learn as I go type of thing. I’m impressed at how well it curls my hair just by sleeping with it in, but I haven’t figured out how to get it to stay put all night. Other than that, it was worth it to use to prevent further heat damage on my hair!

It does what it says it’ll do! Amazing curls! Takes a but of practice but even my first try it worked and I am not a skilled hair person. However, if you want to try the unicorn style, the rod has a flat piece in the middle. It still works as far as I can tell. My har goes down to my waist, I think I could have still used the regular size one. Theres plenty rod left over.
