Did not live up to the hype
I purchased Le Labo Tabac 28 along with two other samples(Apoteker Tepe The Holy Mountain and Histoires de Parfum 1740), the Le Labo being the one I was the most excited to smell. However, it really came up short, especially compared to the other two, which were both amazing. Tabac 28 just seemed flat and thin. There was no progression or bloom to it to me. Just an ashy tobacco, really. Maybe my nose just wasn’t picking up the subtleties, but for the exclusive price of this fragrance, I was wanting a LOT more. It’s a hard pass for me!
