So far the barrel is great!

So far the barrel is great. A little sepage through the oak after 2 weeks with wine vinegar in it, but a good mother has already developed. Seems like the wine color soaks into and through the oak somewhat. Mine is unvarnished and not toasted. Plan on using the Orleans method. The spigot valave was so tight when I got it I had to use some pliers to get it to first rotate.

I ordered the 2l vinegar barrel I love it the craftsmanship is super I already have my first catch started hopefully it will go well if so I may order additional barrels
