PILOT Custom 743 Fountain Pen - Black

Pen arrived quickly.Well packed.And a good price compared to buying within the UK... even with the UK import tax. Great pen and brilliant falcon nib. Very happy with purchase.

Custom 743, PO nib

This is my third Custom 743 pen. They all have a fine nib in various grades: F, EF, and posting, and they all write smoothly. Each one is good in its own way, but right now I prefer the latest pen, which came with a posting nib. It's indispensable for writing mathematical formulas with lots of small subscripts and superscripts. It writes quite smoothly for such a sharp tip. I'd say it's smoother than the Custom 912 PO.

The Pilot Custom 743 in black is a beautiful, well-made fountain pen. The F nib is extremely smooth and writes effortlessly with no pressure needed. The line is crisp and consistent, which makes it perfect for my Hobonichi planner. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.
