MacDuffs Soap Company Backcountry Bourbon Shaving Soap

I really enjoy this shaving cream, it’s a pleasure to use and smells wonderful! Well worth the money, and is at a great price point.

Too thick, clogs razor.

I always purchase British shaving products and thought I would give this brand a try. It was a mistake, no matter what I tried the soap always end up too thick and dried too fast and clogged the razor after 2 passes. Kept having to rinse the razor and most times had to unscrew the blade and re-install. Disappointed with this purchase going back to Taylor of old Bond Street and Truefitt and Hill.

This is a very nice shaving soap from a Canadian company. Similar in texture to Cella, MacDuff's calls itself a thirsty soft shaving soap. It works easily into a nice lather, gives a good slick shave, and leaves my skin feeling good. It has a very nice scent which is stronger and more persistent than other soaps and creams I have used. I look forwarding to trying other MacDuff's shave soaps in the future.
