Astra Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades (5 Blades)

I wish I could rate these blades higher, but I am afraid they are the only ones that nicked me each time I used them. That said, I do have a somewhat strange beard growth, so you might have a different experience.

These were the first blades I tried in my vintage Gillette Tech. I think they are a bit too mild for that already mild razor (the tragedy of sensitive skin), but they were obviously quality and cut things well enough, it just took too many passes to get it done. I will see how they work in a more aggressive razor down the road.

Good utility shave

One and done blade. Get what you pay for. It's fine for a shave, dont expect anything special. Good price point for this blade.
