This does smell like a butterscotch candy. There's a perfumey aspect that keeps it from being completely food-like but it is certainly a gourmand. I had my eye on this one for a while but was worried because one thing I can say about Dua original gourmands is that they are not always what you'd expect based on the notes and descriptions but this one is pretty accurate.

This is my new favorite gourmand. It smells EXACTLY like butterscotch. Out of all my purchases this one right out the package was amazing. I can only imagine how it will smell once it rests. I am in love.
