I received the new planting cups which are only 1 solid piece as opposed to the old ones that are 2 pieces. I like the 2 pieces better for plants that are established. If you are planting seeds the one piece works great. Pros and cons for both

Splittable planting cups

Perfect, it is so easy to split apart. Sometimes there is more than one plant that comes up from seeds. Just split the original apart to get 2 plants then add in a new rock wool half to each = 2 plants
