Men's SolarFlex® Hoody

Days gone by. . .

I spend a lot of time on the San Juan, its hot during the summer! These solarflex hoodies are comfortable in the heat, that said, I prefer the material of the previous version, it had a softer, more supple feel to it and worked well in the heat. If Simms went back to the previous material I'd wear it. If not I'll wear the new version as Ive purchased 6 hoodies and 6 long sleeve crew all in the new material. Additionally, I find the size has changed slightly the new sleeves are not quite as long as the last version and the solarflex shirts with patterns are even shorter in the sleeves, to the point of having to return XLs for XXLs, I've been wearing Simms products for 30+ years and have never worn their XXL in any shirts or jackets always XL.

Excellent product

These hoodies are terrific. Breathable, light, and durable. Sun protection is critical for those days in the boat or wading shoreline in direct sun.
