The Original Fishing Short®

These are about as perfect as one can hope to wear; Huge improvement over a pair I purchased many yrs ago( and am still wearing)! Incredibly light, and, most importantly, comfortable with an elastic waistband. Cool colors….. what else could one say?!

I am serious about fishing, and have trailer boated Baja for most of my 68 years. I have been wearing Original AFTCO Fishing Shorts since they came out, and they have been with me on every trip. I also wear them almost everyday when weather permits. These shorts are unbeatable for duability, comfort, function and stain resistance. Not only do I wear tham fishing, but I wear them while diving, after which they are cleaned of fish blood and the material dries very quickly. On an extended trip without laundry services, they will however get a little stiff from the salt water so when possible, a fresh water rinse is a good idea. The shorts seem to last forever and I have never had a pair fail or tear on me. The only thing that eventually goes, is the elastic in the waist and that is after about 15 or 20 years.

I have worn AFTCO shorts for more than thirty years. They always exceed expectations. I am a life-long, brand-loyal customer.
