Soil Builder Peas and Oats Cover Crop Seeds

Balanced mix with good germination

I have very sandy soil and wanted to start growing some cover crops to use as mulch and compost to start building up some organic matter. I only used about half the packet, in two separate "test beds" and they've grown well in both. I think this was another case where birds ate some seeds (especially the oats... even though they were covered with a bit of soil). I did one test bed in some soil I had let sit with chop-and-drop compost from tomatoes and peppers and the other test bed was a section I hoed in the lawn/weeds and then just through some seed down and haphazardly covered them. Both have been growing well, I just wish my backyard got more sun so they would be bigger.
