Planted it 7/8/2025 and started seeing sprouts the following Saturday, 7/14/2025. It seems like all but one, so far, have germinated. It’s amazing how fast it seems to grow in a day.

Two and a half months ago, I planted 8 corn seeds hoping to get 4 stalks, and that is what I got. Two are still rather small, but I have hopes for the two larger ones. I have never tried to grow corn before at all, much less in a grow bag, but I followed directions online and on the seed packet religiously, so we shall see...I planted in Epsom Organic Potting soil outside; for the first two months the temps were mild---70s and 80s in the day and generally 20 to 30 degrees colder at night---but for the past two weeks temps here (in southeastern AZ) have been in the high 90s to the low 100s, and it's going to be hotter in the coming week. I am giving the corn about a gallon of water every 2nd or 3rd day, hoping to keep it healthy.
