Comfortable After a Short Break-In, But Slightly Tighter Fit

The Ostuni in Ashen caught my eye with their sleek design and the promise of Koio comfort in a neutral, but not boring color.. After wearing them for just over a week, here's my take on them. - Comfort After Break-In The first thing I noticed when slipping into the Ostuni was that they felt a bit snug, especially around the mid foot. After a short break-in period of 1 or 2 days, the shoes became significantly more comfortable. A slight heel slip I initially felt also became a non-issue. Once broken in, they provided the kind of comfort I've come to expect from Koio. These shoes are great for casual outings and walking around town. - Fit Compared to Other Koio While the snug fit wasn't uncomfortable after the break-in period, it was noticeably more restrictive than the Capri in the mid foot and slightly tighter in the toe box. They are on par with the Portofino but easier to break in due to the soft suede. If you have wider feet or prefer a more relaxed fit right out of the box, you might want to consider sizing up. - Style and Versatility The Ostuni have a clean design that pairs well with everything from shorts and a t-shirt to a more polished summer outfit.
