Men's Close Encounters Micro Crew Midweight Hiking Socks

I only buy Darn Tough socks now. I used to get just any socks, until I got a few pairs of Darn Toughs, now my feet can't tolerate cheap socks anymore.

The graphics on this sock are definitely a conversation starter on the trails! They fit great and are cushioned in just the right areas. I love my socks and are always wearing them around the house and of course on hikes!

Most comfortable socks I've owned!

I was worried they'd be too tight. On initial try they were the softest & most comfortable socks I've had. They are tight in that they stay on & up; however, they still have enough stretch that I can splay my toes & feel comfortable in my barefoot shoes & not feel like my toes are being squeezed. I enjoy the fun design with the monsters & mountains that can look normal with long pants or show it off when I roll my pants up biking or wear shorts. I wear them for a week then wash them, & they stay snug the whole time & don't start bunching down. They haven't felt too hot regardless of the weather which has been very nice. I'd needed new socks for years & finally treated myself to these. I'm so glad I got these instead of buying cheap socks. These are definitely one of my new favorite items of clothing, & I plan to get more & have a little collection of comfort & quality that I don't have to worry about. I highly recommend these & will be telling anyone that is interested about them. I have nerve damage in my feet & wear larger shoes so they don't squeeze my toes. My feet are men's size 12, & I wear size 13 shoes. I went with the men's large size for the socks, & they're just right for foot length & tightness.
