Men's Expedition Thermal Cycling Bib Tights

Ok for cool weather but would not recommend for winter or beefy riders.

I have worn PI for maybe 30 years. I have some wool PI and somewhere, a pair of shorts that have an actual chamois. It has always been my go-to no brainer brand. Except for a couple zippers that stopped working, virtually no issues. So these bib tights were a surprising disappointment. They are cut a bit small. My legs feel squeezed. Not painful, but tight enough to make it a struggle to fit over winter socks. I am 5-9 1/2, 145 lb, 31 inch waist, so, skinny. Have always bought medium PI clothing. Secondly, they are not particularly warm for being a cold weather item. I wore them in 45 degree weather and my legs felt a little chilly. Thirdly, am a little concerned about the durability of the shoulder straps. Maybe they will be fine, but they are super thin material, like ribbons. Because of the hassle of returning them and looking for something else, I will keep them. On the positive side, the pad is the best I have ever used and I will continue to use PI clothing but will look elsewhere for winter tights.

Outstanding

With winter nearing another pair of Expedition Thermal bid tights were needed. They check all the boxes and insure I’m ready for the temperatures to drop. Never disappointed as they work better than advertised. I use them for road, gravel, mountain, and fat biking, they are awesome!
