Great is some ways, lacking in others

These pants are very warm and pretty wind resistant, but I wish the fleece continued a bit lower (why would my lower legs get too hot?). The hook and loop to close the fly is odd and doesn't hold the best. PI should look at classic outdoor pants like Fjallraven for good fly closure, but keep forward thinking on the insulation. Much better than the majority of alternatives I'd say though.

just got them, so need more time in rubbish weather, but. . .

I just received these pants, and pretty much took them on a run immediately. I first checked if they fit, and if they moved/worked the way I wanted them to. Then I headed out for a short run in cold rain (about 42F). They were super comfortable, light, stretched well, and kept me very comfy. I tend to be cold, so need warmer gear than a lot of folk I know. These seem fab. Looking forward to taking them on colder/longer runs and rides in the oh-so-pleasant Boston winter.
