I Love the High Quality of Finca El Injerto
I love all this Guatemalan El Injerto Gesha coffee. It is exquisitely sweet and satisfying. It's the best part of my mornings. I haven't been disappointed by any of their beans that Equator has made available and I'll always jump at the opportunity to enjoy any and all of their coffees. I spent a month in Huehuetenango in 1979 and loved the city, its residents and the surrounding mountains. I'm disappointed that I had no idea at the time it was a quality coffee region, but it still made its lasting impression on my soul.

Balanced, medium body, closer to medium roast
The roast is a more towards a medium level. Thus this particular gesha does not radiate a bunch of floral aromas (unfortunately). Instead it has a strong and pleasant aroma of roasted seeds. Produces no bitterness, balanced and enjoyable pour-over cup. Tried it as espresso - thick, complex and punchy syrup! After a week, it becomes softer and even more enjoyable. Overall, great coffee. Would like to try it as a lighter roast.
