Too dark, too thin

I was hoping to give these as a gift because of the beautiful illustrations, but the deck was way too dark. They look brighter in the photos. The names are almost illegible in reality. I was also disappointed by the flimsiness. It’s clear that they wouldn’t tear because of the plastic coating, but definitely felt like thin cardstock.

Absolutely love this set!! I’m hoping to find a favorite among them and buy the full size deck soon. The illustration is beautiful and crisp. The cards are sturdy despite their miniature size. I’ve even used the tokens as a way to mix up my readings and try different ways of pulling cards. This is a collectible which comes with its own numbered stamp on the bottom of the box, so it feels very official!

Beautiful deck and the box is quite lovely too! I didn't find the guidebook especially helpful, but the illustrations and symbols are quite intuitive so that's not a big deal.
