The Elysian Shadows Tarot Deck

The images are phenomenal. The card stock and gift edging are high quality. I knocked it down a star for three reasons: the images are smaller than they appear in the promo materials, making the details difficult to see, the descriptions of the cards in the booklet have a few discrepancies, and not all the cards have the correct number of symbols. An example is the 7 of cups. There are 5 vessels visible; however, a sixth has only a sliver and it's neck doesn't align. It's also possible there's a slight sliver of another, but it's hard to tell. The two of cups only has three cups in the image. In terms of not matching between card and description, the two of swords is unclear. The description states that she has a sword in her hand, but the most obvious object is an oar. There's something in her other hand, but it looks more like another car than a sword. The five of swords is another ambiguous image. There's only one dagger visible. The booklet describes a fallen figure, but if there is one, it's very hard to pick out. Overall, this is a beautiful deck, but I suspect the editing process was rushed.

It is a beautiful deck & I have enjoyed using it. I know that the deck is based in a certain timeline but I am disappointed in the lack of diversity. White people are not the only people in the world & representing other races is always important. I hope your artists will show more races in future tarot decks.

Absolutely LOVE every deck I've purchased...and I'm now an avid client. Each deck is stunningly beautiful and the Elysian Shadows Tarot deck is gorgeous. Love working with these cards.
