Very pleasantly surprised!

This bottomless portafilter is perfectly made, solid, and professional. Just absolutely perfect. I truly think they should consider including it with their excellent Home Barista Plus espresso machines. The tiny hole in the bottom of the default portafilter baskets that come with this machine is a gimmick so people can get good crema without knowing what they're doing. With this PERFECT bottomless filter, I was easily able to get my grind right and my tamping right, and get nearly perfect results THAT ARE IN MY CONTROL. Now the puck comes out right, instead of as complete mush that needed several hits on the knock box to dump it.

Still trying to get good amount of cream. Coffee taste is very rich and bold

Not working correctly

Seems to be heating prematurely no matter what I do so coffee doesn’t brew correctly. I reviewed the manual to change settings but not doing anything. Looks like you can’t speak to a live person!!! Bad decision on this purchase
