Easy to use. Perfect with my Breville Bambino. Some reviewers have said no retention, others mention some retention. My experience is negligible retention without misting the beans. I have also seen comments on the cup size. If larger cups are made for different models, a choice of cups would solve this comment and retain the style of the grinder. There have been comments that the grind adjustment can move while grinding. I have not found this as an issue. I did determine my preferred grind size quickly and left the adjustment unchanged after that. I can understand that any tolerances that restrict movement will not be as efficient with regular adjustment.

Remarkable grinder for the money

I was told the grinder is far more important that the espresso machine if you're serious about making proper coffee. This stepless grinder has a fantastic range for grinding from espresso to cafetiere and is so precise that a single notch on the scale plus or minus can have a dramatic effect on the outcome of the shot. I choked the espresso machine using the first 10 settings on the grinder scale showing how fine this machine can actually go and so far I have been totally impressed with its performance. At time of purchase it was around the £150 price point but the manufacturer did offer a decent discount code on purchasing direct. Looks brilliant on the worktop alongside the Sage Bambino Plus. Thoroughly recommend

The grind dial shifts while grinding. I've tried cleaning and applying molykote 111 grease but no change, i think the 3 springs might be the issue they barely protrude above the surface.
