Dark depths

Grabbed this on a whim because it sounded interesting, and oh my goodness, what a stunner. In the bottle it’s very labdanum heavy, the second it touches your skin, it opens up completely. The resin is still very present, but as it settles, the old books come through, followed by mysterious woods, and finally the touch of sea air, briny and cold. It’s as deep and dark as the sea itself, but full of subtleties that make it exceptional. A old cottage full of books, a worn stone path, a touch of sea breeze, and maybe something lurking in the depths.. amazing work.

Beautiful, nostalgic

I have 13 of Amorphous perfume oils and this one is my favorite. It has a nostalgic quality, there is a note similar to an old fragance now retired that I bought from then Black Baccara back in 2012. I've never lived in a coastal town, but when I wear this I feel transported to a quiet little town by the sea. I hope it becomes permanent in the catalog.

Exactly What It Says It Is!

This fragrance is really just what it says! It reminds me of home, and really does conjure the feelings of old houses and cobblestones damp from the salty ocean air. Old books and faded incense linger, making it feel just as cozy as I'd hoped!
