Poor workmanship / quality control

Got the product and it didn't work or only came on intermittently. Why, one of the connectors that makes contact with the side of the batteries was bent out of position. After I fixed this issue, the device as worked just fine. But why did a leave the factory this way? Why wasn't there QA to figure this out prior to me receiving it?

I think it works well but its a bit over priced. Fifty dollars for a magnetic laser is too much if you ask me. I wouldn't mind having another one but I am not willing to spend another fifty bucks for one.
