XGIMI Ceiling Mount

Nightmare after buying what was supposed to be a solution

I bought this mount after purchasing the Horizon 20 Max. The product I received has a fixed rod that does not match the instructions provided or the XGIMI video. You literally have to rotate the projector on the ceiling to adjust the rod. Dangerous and dumb. I went back and forth with customer support explaining what was happening but received no real help. I later found other customers complaining about the exact same issue. Only then did they finally admit they are producing a “new” model that doesn’t match what they advertise and that they forgot to update the instructions or let the customers know what they were buying. It seems they chose a cheaper fixed-rod design and passed the cost savings on to customers in the form of a worse product. Very disappointing.

It’s ok

So for the most part it worked as described but for the horizon 20 max the power cord has a much larger plastic connector. So it wouldn’t seat in the designated latch, so I just had to shove it in there and it doesn’t exactly fit flush. Can’t really tell unless you know

I love it, my room has a lot of ambient light and this blazes through it. So happy so far
