No break in time needed

These shoes are just as appears in the photo. They are just a right fit and pretty much mauled to your foot. I wear a size 6 and sometimes sixes are too long or big for me as I have shorter and narrower feet. Never as a size 6 too small for me and other shoes. If you have wider or longer feet, these may be too snug although they do stretch. Perfect for me though.
