Hotline Gel Liner

Dried out

I was really excited for the brown shade for more natural looks. It was great at first and I kept it closed tightly in a drawer with the little paper shield on it every time I stored it. However, within several months it became too dry to use anymore. Since I only wear makeup for special occasions, I got very little use out of it and most of it is now wasted. I really hope you can make it in a pencil format or reformulate it to stay wet enough for use. I have the black eyeliner pen as well and that is still going strong. But I really wanted a brown in my collection as well.

Great product but…

This was my second time ordering the hotline gel liner. The first time I got it, it was absolutely incredible. Opaque, creamy, and long lasting. However, this second time I got it, when it arrived it was already completely dried out and unusable. It had dried out to half its original size and was hard as a rock. I tried to use an activator to get it to come back to life, but it was too dried out for even that to work.

Dry and smudgy

With everyone commenting how this liner is creamy to even wet, I’m very disappointed that mine upon immediate use is a very dry consistency. I purchased the brush to use with it as well and the result is smeary and skipping without much control. I’m going to keep trying to use it as it cost me a bit but overall I’m not impressed.
