Keychron Q14 Pro (Alice Layout) QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard

A great Keyboard which is almost there because of how southpaw is implemented

I got this more than a year ago. Second Alice after the Q10. Keyboard quality, feel etc. is the same as other Qs, which means, great. My Q10 felt a tiny bit less rattly that this one. Minor suggestions: I would add key for all of pg up pg dn, home, end, del. Shine through keys would be perfect. I assume anyone considering this keyboard needs or wants a Full size one with a numpad. Why almost there? It's the south paw concept and layout in itself that needs more work. I got this so I can keep my mouse or trackball right next to the right of the keyboard so I don't to reach that much for them. The numpad to the left does that. But, using your left hand for the numpad means your brain and muscle memory will also reverse the finger memory, and you would be typing into the numpad as if the keys in it were reversed. Which is NOT the case on this keyboard. The current layout requires you to retrain your finger memory to use the numpad, which detracts from the ergonomic and the performance using the keyboard. So while the keyboard is so nice, the southpaw layout hasn't been the ergonomic win I wanted. But a great keyboard nonetheless.

Fantastic keyboard, solid build, comfortable posture.

This is my second Alice layout keyboard and is my daily driver. The ergonomics are great, and the build is solid. The south paw layout is exactly what I've been looking for in a keyboard. There are lots of customization options but the prebuilt straight out of the box is excellent.
