Selkirk AMPED Control - Epic - Pickleball Paddle

I like my new paddle. I’m a beginner so have a lot to learn but played with experienced players the other day and held my own. Before buying this paddle I played with other brands but liked how the Selkirk paddle played so bought one.

Amped control Epic lightweight/ wide

I ordered a wide paddle Epic amped control lightweight. I’m still getting used to the wider model, and adjusting to the difference. My serve has suffered, but I’m working on adjusting to correct this personal issue. It’s too early for me to give a fair assessment

Not as nice as the previous model

This is my third Epic model paddle. I find the surface texture on this version is not as “grippy” as previous versions. I play a fair amount of spin and I find this paddle is only fair for that kind of play. I’ll Probably get something else for my next paddle. Also, this paddle was advertised on sale for $100 (previous $160) on the website, but the paddle had a $99.99 label on it upon arrival.
