Lot of distortion
I fully expected these were going to be bright by virtue of being planar. What I did not anticipate was the amount of distortion. When there is a lot going on the sound turns to mud. They're not terrible for the price, but they're not great. When I'm giving up bass for mids and highs I'd expect far greater clarity than these have on offer.
For female vocals these are pretty great honestly. Male vocals fare far worse. there is a dip in the lower end of male vocals that just feels hollow.
I am… underwhelmed.

A planar for a steal
I personally love planar IEMs, so I was quite interested in this. It achieves its purpose, providing all the quality and range at half the price of my 7Hz Timeless. Despite how large they appear, they feel and sound lighter than expected. However, the driver on *both* sides compromises the sound. It's quieter and doesn't /immerse/ you in the sound (if that makes sense). It sounds like you have small speakers on your head rather than being in the soundstage of your IEMs.
