Nice tree in good shape but i believe it came with a small colony of ants. They are farming black scale on this tree. I can’t swear they came with it but out of 12 fig trees, some I’ve had 3 years some 1 year, none of the others have ever shown any sign of this pest and i noticed them on this orourke tree just a couple days after putting it outside. I isolated the tree and it’s still the only one with the farming ants and scale on it. I had to order spinosad to get rid of them and hopefully that will do it.

On time, great condition, hard-to-find fig tree for cool winters and tasty figs
I bought a second one from them after being so happy with the first. They respond to queries after a couple of days, but that was okay with me--maybe they're busy in the field. I'm happy and would use Edible Landscaping again.
